Tableau Dashboards

Included below is an overview of the Tableau dashboards made available by the Office of Assessment, Trinity College. All reports published to Tableau at Duke require a Duke netID and password, as well completion of multi-factor authentication, to access. Authorization and access to each set of dashboards is determined by the department chair and will be granted on an as needed bases. For technical questions about logging into Tableau please contact OIT. For questions pertaining to the content of the reports or to initiate an access request please contact the Office of Assessment (Assessment@duke.edu).

     The purpose of this dashboard is to help you address questions you may ask about teaching and learning in the classroom. The tables and figures in this workbook represent the fusion of multiple years of data collected and aggregated by the SISS office, Trinity College's Office of Assessment, and Institutional Research. Additional information about tables and figures are included on each dashboard.

  The tables and figures in these dashboards give you means and frequencies across all of the questions on the student course evaluation form.  You can access course evaluation results for a single course, along with comparison level data from the college – including the corresponding academic department and division.

     When students declare their major they are asked to complete a brief survey about their experience with their academic advisor.  The AAC uses these results to learn how the advising system is serving students overall and where we need to improve. Individual advisors can learn how their advisees' experienced the advising relationship and identify aspects of their advising practice to strengthen.
