Instructions
On the next page, you will be asked to complete the Global Perspectives Inventory (GPI). This questionnaire assesses your perceptions of cultural identity and of relationships with people from other cultures, backgrounds, and value systems. It helps evaluate the degree to which you utilize a global perspective within our pluralistic society. The GPI asks you to evaluate the extent to which you agree or disagree with statements like “I understand how various cultures of this world interact socially” and “I see myself as a global citizen”.
As you complete the GPI, please keep in mind:
- There are no right or wrong answers.
- You are encouraged to respond intuitively. The questionnaire should take less than 10 minutes. If it is taking a lot longer than that, you may be overthinking your responses.
- Complete the questionnaire in one sitting. Eliminate any distractions from your work station, including music and other web browsers.
- Do not use any additional resources, such as dictionaries or online search engines.
